Rajlaxmi Electro Homeopathy Medical College and Hospital is a premier Institution of Electro Homoeopathy Practice, Education & Research. The medical college started its journey on 1993 at West-Masunda, New Barrackpore, 24 PGS(N), Kolkata-700131. The college is affiliated with Central Council of Electro Homeopathic System of Medicine, W.B. The Out Patient Department of the college was inaugurated by Honorable M. P. Sri Chitta Basu at ‘Ambadkar Mission’ Ghola, North 24 pgs, W.B. In 2014, the new location of O. P. D. at West Masunda was inaugurated by the gracious presence of Smt. Chandrima Bhattacherjee, The Minister of Health, Govt. of West Bengal and Dr. G. S. Taki, Scientist, Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.

There are various O.P.D. departments e.g., Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Gastrology, General Medicine etc. Under the esteemed supervision of EH practitioners of Rajlaxmi Electro Homeopathy Medical College & Hospital, a large number of various types patients are treated in the O.P.D. periodically. Electro homeopathic medical teams used to organize free medical camps in collaboration with NGO and clubs, all over the States of West Bengal.

Starting from 1997, at several occasions, the college has been organizing national level electro homeopathic scientific conferences, in collaboration with Central Council of Electro Homeopathic System of Medicine.

Electro-homeopathy is a herbal spagyric based scientific medical system invented by an Italian Herbalist Count Cesar Mattei in 1865. Due to some reasons, the valuable scientific documents could not be published and communicated to the society to nurture this valuable science. Because of the plenty herbal resources in Himalayan India, Electro-Homeopathy practitioners, have been continuously practicing traditional herbal medicines. The buried science of the Electro-Homeopathy could not be recognized, so far, in our country. Government. of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health Research) kindly consented to put an intensive effort for setting up an Inter Departmental Committee (IDC), to deeply look into the matter of reorganization for Electro-Homeopathy, as an independent alternative system of medical science. Members of 29 Boards/Council are deeply engaged with the work leading to an advanced stage of recognition.
